I'm alive!

I can't say much because I still cannot type

I am in the critical care unit at St Matthews Indianpolous

I had brain surgery two days ago and was apparently not supposed to make it as the doctors asked Cate to 'gather her loved ones together. '

She started this process but I arose from the dead

Blogging will resume soon

  5. Oh my stars and garters, welcome back to the land of the living. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Since you were the one out like a light, not knowing what was happening, my heart goes out to Cate, who had to endure it conscious. Sending waves of wellness your way.

  6. Dear Philip: You’ve always had a knack for surprising everybody through your blog “for dummies” (like me). I know you’ll get through the present ordeal: just another episode in your already-eventful existence. I would love to be able to talk to you calmly in a simple spirit of Aussie-to-Aussie companionship… which might well be what I’m actually doing at the present moment. Stay cool, and let the local medical folk, no doubt among the finest in the world, guide you back to good health, as rapidly as possible. I’m sending you a massive wave of positive energy from my mountain home on the edge of the French Alps. Love, William.
