I'm alive!

I can't say much because I still cannot type

I am in the critical care unit at St Matthews Indianpolous

I had brain surgery two days ago and was apparently not supposed to make it as the doctors asked Cate to 'gather her loved ones together. '

She started this process but I arose from the dead

    Some people wiLL do almost anything to get out of blogging! These youngsters now days ... hope you are getting better and that they are taking wonderful care of you. Monika and Sissi are surely missing you. Will be looking forward to seeing progress reports.

    Dear Philip: You’ve always had a knack for surprising everybody through your blog “for dummies” (like me). I know you’ll get through the present ordeal: just another episode in your already-eventful existence. I would love to be able to talk to you calmly in a simple spirit of Aussie-to-Aussie companionship… which might well be what I’m actually doing at the present moment. Stay cool, and let the local medical folk, no doubt among the finest in the world, guide you back to good health, as rapidly as possible.     All: thank you very much for kind and much appreciated comments. I think I am going home tomorrow and will not be able to do anything but sit about. But it will be better than here. And maybe I can blog.
